Nude Nite 2012, a high end art show, is the place to be over each Valentine's Weekend.  Three nights of nude painting, sculpture, installation art, performance and body art.  This year, I was sponsored by Sam Flax, who generously donated three 4x5 foot canvases, on which I painted the images of each of my female models who were selected to perform and model my body art.  I had body painting assistants Emma Kennemer the first two nights, and Erik Hellekson the third.  I finished the first model to go up on the stage underneath her portrait, and while she modeled, her male counterpart was painted live for the crowd.  We show stopped, as photos were being snapped and questions were being asked, and drinks were being brought to us by helpful art appreciators.
Twelve hours of body art each day for this art event created a spectacle of wonder and excitement at the antique brass and glass Church Street Station in Orlando.  The name of the piece was "A Day in the Life of Jane Doe"
Model, Sarah Page, (the tall blonde above) posed for the test shots in studio for Ryder Gledhill.   This super talented lady volunteered her time to create both the doe mask, and a mask for the vulture character, shown.
The models were given creative license, to act out and pose their own stories, and interpret the artwork I had created to their own vision.  The beautiful thing about visual art, is that there is no one story that the work holds.  Every art appreciator can justify the artwork in their own personal way, as it offers limitless meanings to each of us.
